OK!! I'm so excited about my new house. I get to move in right about the time I get my new baby: ) We'll just see what happens first. I've been looking at blogs about updating 1950's and 60's houses. We are moving into a late 50's(I think) ranch in an older Charleston neighborhood. Here is what I really love bout my hubby. We are totally updating the WHOLE thing in a matter of about six weeks. Part of me would kinda like the the life of a little project here a little project there as a hobby, but the Larger part of me adores the fact I can say..."i don't like the kitchen segregated on the end of the house and now the kitchen is exactly where I want it in the middle all open to the dining living area and oh sooo gonna be cool!!.(heehee) MAGIC!! He is definitely a "git er done" kind of man. I cannot believe we didn't take before pics of the inside. It was well gutted before I said..."awwww...we should have taken before pics". Also, my "hobbies" I already have pretty much take all my time...hobbies such as laundry, teaching people to read, and feeding ten people 3 meals and two snacks a day(haha) Anyway, I adore my new neighborhood and my new neighbors who I already know( one fam who I am so excited to live near) and a couple of elderly people and one "new age" lady we met on Saturday. She told Kimmi she wants to come back as a cat in her next life. Kim is all over that. She can't wait to talk to her more once we really get moved in.
God can definitely move us anytime He is good and ready but Rich and I both feel very drawn to and already settled in our hearts in our new neighborhood. Lord willing, I don't think we will ever move.
